As we are successfully stepping into 5th year of our operation as a not-for-profit establishment, we are overwhelmed with gratitude and pride for how far we’ve come. Thanks to the unwavering support of our incredible team of volunteers, advisory members, partners, legal counsels, auditors, and our large quantum community of registered users.
SheQuantum takes great pleasure in sharing our Founder Nithyasri Srivathsan’s message on this exciting moment.
“When I founded my brainchild SheQuantum in 2020 on my gap year after high school, it started as a humble initiative with a vision I could hardly have imagined would evolve to what it is today. As we step into our fifth year, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. SheQuantum has been a journey which has and is giving me the opportunity to constantly learn, contribute, teach, inspire, get inspired, grow and help others grow in the process!
From those early days of uncertainty of a global pandemic, our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. With the mission to bring free quantum computing courses, lecture series, educational resources, inspiring interviews of quantum experts, and exciting blogs to inspire the next generation of quantum engineers and scientists, especially women, this small idea has flourished into a vibrant and impactful organization, thanks to the unwavering support of our collaborators and advisory members. I’m super proud of what SheQuantum has delivered over these 4 years, some of which I’m happy to share here:

# Our recent milestone – we’re proud of our numbers! We have been successful in creating a large quantum community of registered users from 300+ institutions and 70+ countries with nearly 55% women researchers, professionals, and students.
# Initiatives like ArtiQcle series and The Forgotten Woman Pioneer of Quantum Mechanics – Women of Quantum series which saw encouraging engagement and support from the quantum community!

# Partnerships are important in any endeavour and we’re privileged to have forged successful collaborations with various global institutions and individual expert contributors who are geographically diverse!
