Founder, SheQuantum
To celebrate my initiative SheQuantum as we’re entering our fourth year, I’d like to take a moment to look back at our very successful journey since I founded SheQuantum during my gap year before university in 2020. As a young quantum women researcher who has dabbled in quantum computing, quantum information, and quantum sensing, I’ve always been passionate about inspiring and educating women like myself in QC. This passion has always reflected in the invited talks I’ve been privileged to be invited to deliver in Singapore, Spain, France, Netherlands, India, and USA. I often get asked why I founded my brainchild; when I started my quantum journey, I realized that there are puzzlingly many resources to learn from but I deeply understood how much effort it can take to find the right resource for you as an enthusiast, beginner, an intermediate expert, or as an academic. I recognized that this field is lacking talented professionals, more so women! This inspired me to make the journey of other women accessible and much less of a struggle, with my mission and vision to make QC more accessible.
Taking this opportunity to sincerely thank our advisory members, collaborators (both academia and industry), endorsers, media coverages from across the globe without whose support my small initiative wouldn’t have reached such a large audience of registered users from 65 countries & 289 institutions.

My special thanks to Mark (Cornell University), Elica (Elitsa) (Wellcome Leap), Nir (Classiq Technologies), Aida (Centre national de la recherche scientifique), Elías (University of Oviedo), Christopher A. (University of Massachusetts), Esther (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences), Prof. Dr. Helena (Deggendorf Institute of Technology), Hadiseh (Purdue University) for their continued support. Grateful to all collaborators for inspiring our community through their contributions on our platform.
I thank Cité de l’Économie, AD’OCC, National University of Singapore, Quantum Engineering Programme, Singapore, IMDA, TechXLR8 Asia, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Indian Institute Of Information Technology Allahabad ,QSPAIN, QCSAI for inviting me to share my thoughts on QC, diversity, and QC education. Thank you, Prof Alioscia for deeply honoring me by inviting me on the special occasion of Women’s Day 2022 to deliver a guest lecture in his course PHYS447 at University of Massachusetts. I’m humbled to have had the opportunity to present at such prestigious institutions at such a young age and to have been able to influence fellow quantum minds. I take pleasure in thanking Piers for inviting me to contribute to EY’s whitepaper and Amazon for being a platform for me to publish my bestseller beginners’ book on QC.
Thank you media: Quantum Computing Report, The Quantum Insider, and more.
Our success shows in how we’ve influenced many globally to think quantum! We’ll continue to inspire. We’re making a significant difference and hope to see more women in QC!
