Prof Rajagopal is a member of academic staff at Middlesex University and he lead the Foundations of Computing group. Before that, he was a member of academic staff in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick. Within the department, he belonged to the Foundations of Computer Science research group. He was also affiliated with the Warwick Institute for Financial Computing and the Centre for Discrete Mathematics and its Applications (DIMAP). He received his Ph.D. from Imperial College London where was also a postdoctoral researcher. Previously he was employed by the University of Calgary, Canada, and ATC-NY, USA. He has an M.S. from the University of Delaware and a B.Tech. from IIT Madras, India. His research interests includes Quantum Information Processing, Security and Cryptography, Programming Languages, Formal Verification. Additional Interests: Blockchain Technologies and Cryptocurrencies, Financial Computing, and Autonomous and Intelligent Transportation.
